The perks of studying Principles of Marketing is that you discover nice commercials like the one above (that is if you know the game second-life)... unlike Financial Accounting where you get to see this...

Allow me to indulge for a while in my absurd philosophies and I do apologize if I offend anybody along the way. Call me naive if you care. I don't. For once, after watching these series of videos, I do feel that players like christano ronaldo although technically fast are a pale shadow of the master in control - Zinedine Zidane. Why bother to speed past pple when you can kill your opponent with one touch. He is the maestro and watching him caress the ball made me remember why i played football in the first place. The elegance, the beauty and the art... anything that could describe a masterpiece. I wish there were no restrictions, no school, nothing to stop me from enjoying the game I love... but reality slaps you in the face. I guess soccer for me, brings me into a fantasy world, away from all the things I dislike which is why I will never give up the game...

Thinking of these things while studying FNA... what a parody! hahah enjoy the videos below and understand why I think the way i do.

On a lighter note, I'm infatuated with this Nike shoe that Josh the menace showed me the other day at Heeren... why did u do it josh why... hahah

Emo day out with boon and josh is damn retarding. Boon keeps folding flowers from serviettes. Josh and me played chai chuan. E33 cider + retarded games + McDonalds = lethal combination for any occasion. Luckily at the end of the day, I have my emo friend to cheer me up... Enjoy!

Last week some guy came to moi home to do this coffee survey. And he has to thank his lucky stars man, i jus did my Starbucks presentation so I'm like the coffee guru of this world. Anyways he rewarded my intricate sharing of my coffee knowledge with a $4 Macs voucher... FREEEE!!!

Saturday's game was FABulous, we played against some NTU hall team in which we could have scored like a dozen goals. However, due to our generousity we allowed them to score one and being merciful, we broke their net twice.

Birdy man came my house to ton and do some work together again... He would have fared better if not for his frequent hunger pangs which were taken care of by some really evil sandwiches out of this world.

I'm supposed to buy hats now with booninho and emo bro but it seems that the weather and my legs are not listening to me. Grrr... btw. birdy man made some rings for his mer... jus a sneak preview to his masterpieces :

"That will be 300 bucks please!"

I'm officially an Arsenal fan. Kick Liverpool's butt please...

Recently, sch has turned into a bitch...
so much so that i have to seek Josh for comfort,
watch Anchorman,

listen to cary brothers,
throw my eraser into the bin,
listen to Gwen Stefani's 4am in the morning

Farewell to Terence Yeo my good old sec 2 friend. Your e-mail's real heartwarming. Please keep us up to date and have a good and fruitful time there.

School's been pretty boring cept meeting some new friends. Namely, my OG members, Yuan Zhang, my new soccer khakis and Mandy. That's a really small grp. But I'm building on it. Signed up for Cambodia CIP trip in December. Really hope to do something constructive (literally) as we'll be building toilets and stuff there. We definitely need some fund-raising to cover some of the cost of the trip. Pls give me any suggestions any of u out there might have.

The NUS pageant was pretty dumb... lasted for like at most 30mins and ended without announcement of who got through to the finals. Soon after, we went over to Phuture and i drank like a mixture of 6 drinks. Was totally wasted and had to be dragged to Neil's house. He's a real great pal given that i had only known him for a week or so. Thanks! But the worst of it all was that i didn't remember anything I did... darn scary. The hangover was like someone fucking arnd in my brain. It bad.

Scored my second goal for team AJ. Way to go guys... but we definitely played badly despite winning 8-1.

Time to get down to the serious stuff...

Had 2 eventful soccer matches over the weekend, lost one 2-1 with scorchers and won another 6-1 with AJC. Went for Chung Kee's birthday after the scorchers match and DAMN... That lucky old man gets to enjoy a freaking mansion of a house. He was a great host and with the company of 2H retards, good food and the good old gambling, what can I say...

I can finally say that i scored my first goal for AJC... Boy did it take long and it was with my left foot although it was a bit of a fluke. Well, they all count in the end. Had a great time with Josh, the indie mofo, nathan, wak and boon. Hope we get the jersey soon and to a continued undefeated streak! Cheerios.

DIE LAUGHING GUYS! INDIAN FRIENDS PLS REFRAIN FROM KILLING ME

Tuesday, June 26, 2007

Allow me to indulge in this wonderful trip and take up maybe a few minutes of your time...
My journey is as follows : Singapore --> Vancouver --> Ketchikan --> Hubbard Glacier --> Juneau --> Icy Strait Point --> Columbia Icefield --> Banff --> Vancouver --> Singapore
To start off, it was really a gruelling 16 hours (approximately) plane ride to Vancouver from Singapore. We had to stop at Korea International airport for an hour for transfer. Fortunately, SIA's Krisflyer entertainment system and Uncle Wang made it more bearable.
We dropped off at Vancouver and were immediately taken to Empire Landmark Hotel which was situated along Robson Street - Vancouver's Orchard Road. (I forgot to mention I was travelling with my cousin, uncle and aunt)They had many fashion boutiques including Guess, Armani, Banana Republic and much more. Wait till i strike toto 5 million then i come back for them lar. Hahah had dinner at the food court which sold tons and tons of beef. I had a tortilla wrap with beef filling and it was huge and cost about S$9. Soon after we visited the grocery stores for fresh fruits and ended our day in the hotel.
Next morning, we set off for Ballantyne Pier which marked the beginning of our 7 day cruise.
And we boarded this monster cruise named Celebrity infinity which ironically had no celebrity except for a small-time, narrow minded, retarded one from Singapore that is. Well at least he provided Colin and me a source of entertainment in the casino. Huat! Looks small but I can assure you looks can be deceiving and that's only middle class.
Aboard the cruise was pure luxury. We had free champagne and drinks served by the very professional staff on board after check-in and I have to say Singapore's F & B service is way behind.

"Welcome to Poseidon!" (Titanic would be too cliche)

We moved to our cabin for 2. Colin and me shared the twin-bed room which was pretty spacious given the fact that the cruise had to house 1900+ passengers excluding crew.

Our room attendant was rather cute, she would put candies on our pillows after cleaning up the room not that i ate them. hahah. The remaining of the day, we were cruising on the Inside Passage en route to Ketchikan - The world's salmon capital. We explored the cruise thoroughly and found out that it had Martini and jazz bars. There were at least 6 or more bars, most with dance floors and live bands. Although the music didnt really match our tastes, we did enjoy the drinks. Infinity has 12 decks and deck 11 was our spot for viewing the amazing scenery. Dinner at Trellis Restaurant was a delightful and different experience everyday. No need to talk about the service and taste of food. The view was different everyday and presentation of food unique in every sense of the word. Furthermore, the waiters were a bunch of nutty ones. Full of humour and wit. They entertained us every night.
Arriving at Ketchikan, we were full of adventure and trekked around the city for 2 hours, along the way there were multiple totem poles. Yes, the ones in Warcraft. Hahah but not exactly.

We managed to strike a conversation with this ultra friendly shop keeper who told us how he managed to travel the world and that he finally decided to settle down in Ketchikan. He has a freaking Masters degree and what really amazed me was that he didn't even bother to do business with us, we talked like old friends. It was fantastic. Rapids and streams were the other main attractions there. We returned to the cruise soon after and managed a gym session to ease away the guilt of eating these :

I'm adamant that everyone would agree that's a lot to work off, especially the steak.

Next up would be Hubbard Glacier, Alaska's longest ice face...

The following day, we sailed to Juneau, capital of Alaska with Mendenhall glacier at their backyard. We got there and it was real CCC - close, cold and crowded.

We also visited the smoked Salmon production lines and got to look first hand at how they prepared the Salmon after reeling them in from the fishing boats.

Day 7 of the trip. We came to Icy Strait Point where we boarded one of the sight-seeing vessels for the Point Adolphus area, one of Alaska's premier whale watching sites for Humpback and Orca Whales. We got to see many Humpbacks and sea lions. Cute, they are. And the woman beside us really had an orgasm when she saw them... Whoa, Wah, Yesssss... Sounds like one doesn't it?

That marked the end of our port visits as we headed back for Vancouver. I decided to huat at the casino but ended up losing 60 grand... Sorry to scare you... its US$60 not US$60,000. Blackjack just isn't my cup of kopi.

Our tour guide Dear old Frank picked us up at the pier and promptly drove towards the Rockies. Along the way, we went past and stopped at many attractions including : The Last Spike, Banff National park, Sulphur mountain, Lake Louise, Columbia Icefield and many more.

I'll let my pictures do the talking now because I'm feeling lazy... hahah Enjoy!

Drink from the source!

BEAT US!

Monster Truck!!!
ERM...! No words to describe this priceless expression.
Looks like some old chinese kung fu show view...
I forgot to introduce my 2 new friends that i met during the journey, Pang Boon a.k.a muscle boy and Swee Lin both from Singapore. Thank you for letting me meet u all and make this already wonderful trip even more memorable. Thank you!

AC Milan - Manchester United
3 - 0

A very fitting tribute to a game played to perfection by AC milan and probably worrying times ahead for Liverpool.

I would like to reiterate how important Gattuso is to Milan. He is truly the player with the best work ethic and one who never gives up. Here is what he has to say :

"GATTUSO: ‘Each one of us has suffered, we went through an unusual season. Arriving here once again is a reason to be proud because there was a lot of talk about us as being a finished side. It’s true that two years ago I had certain ideas, but the other day when I was going over it again I saw that Milan had renewed my contract every year. I didn’t want to leave because I had problems with the club, it was because I had problems with myself, with how that final was lost. Everything was said about Clarence Seedorf, but extraordinary things happen in the Champions League. It isn’t just luck that we won three finals. I don’t want to talk about revenge against Liverpool because in France, with Italy, this definition didn’t go well. Certainly I will be thinking about winning to put the final from two years ago behind me.’ "

Iris (Live at Buffalo Concert)

"On July 4th, 2004, Rzeznik and his bandmates returned home to Buffalo and played a free show to give back to their loyal fans, over 60 thousand of whom attended. The day quickly became a city triumph when rain came pouring down during their performance. It turned out to be the worst rain storm Buffalo had seen in over twenty years, but the Goo Goo Dolls did not stop playing. Rzeznik declared, "We're going to keep going until this shit stops". "

This performance was captured on DVD and CD for the public in the Goo Goo Dolls release Live in Buffalo: July 4th 2004.

Too amazing! I need to buy their "Live in Buffalo: July 4th 2004"'s CD.

The big match had finally arrived... AC Milan vs Manchester United. I woke up promptly around 2.30 am filled with anticipation and i was not disappointed. 3 goals in the first half and a another2 goals in the second half was more than enough to make up for 1.5 hours of sleep.
To be honest, I had high hopes of Milan triumphing in Old Trafford, with the makeshift United defence, many would agree with me.

Below are some pictures of the brilliant action on display(in Milan's perspective of cos) :
(pictures courtesy of www.acmilan.com)

Captain Paulo Maldini

Kaka looking to the heavens after scoring... wen

Gattuso the destroyer

Andrea Pirlo looking to ole Carrick

Better than Ferguson?

Really want Maldini and Gattuso to get injured... Brocchi and Bonera zhen de bu fei... We could all see that Milan's play was immensely affected after the earlier 2 left the field due to injuries. Gattuso deserves special mention. He is such an important player who plays the unglamourous role in the team where he breaks the opponent's attacking play down with his sheer determination, stamina and gut. He is a player I look up to... Always looking to get into tackles and winning the ball. Fortunately, he will be fit for the second leg in this intriguing tie.

Kaka turned in a match winning performance with 2 goals but was apparently not enough as man utd scored a last minute goal through Rooney. Such was the excitement of the match.

I await the second leg with bated breath...

I hate to say this - but this incident is just the accumulation of all the racist behavior exhibited by white americans towards blacks, black latinos and asians. I've seen it in high school - the white kids were merciless. they stalked the minorities and taunted them day in and day out. Now Cho has done what all the rest do not dare to do. Good job Cho, I am proud of you. Cho will soon become a cult figure among the minorities. Cho is definitely an inspiration for me. I love you, Cho.

3 Near accidents in a month... and in 1 of them I actually knocked into some dude's back bumper. Subsequently, I was trying to turn out from a tight corner and bumped into the other car, but not much damage, fortunately there was no driver in the car. Lastly ( i hope) tried to change two lanes and didn't see a van emerging fast... too near to even breathe... but fortunately, he slowed down in time and raved a series of "horns" at me... probably even with all the foul languages and a middle finger to finish up... which i won't get the chance to hear or see...

So, i create this post to remind myself to drive safely in future, no more near-misses, complacency, and accidents.

DRIVE SAFELY OR THE NEXT ONE COULD INVOLVE A LIVE.

The last weekend rocked. I played lots and lots of soccer and got to meet up with my cousins and aunties.

Saturday morning saw me in chinese high street court once again but the atmosphere was so much different because of news that our long lost friend Mr Tan Ying Hao (yang) would be joining us in our quest for the domination of the court. Come, he did along with albert, denzyl, leonard and serhwee. We had a few matches subsequently and won 5 consecutively. It was a long time since we played so well. Although yang didnt score, he did make life difficult for the opponent's defenders. Kiaping them rough and hard. yeah. He did link up our play well too. More matches and he would be back to his best soon i suppose.

We played for hornyteam in the afternoon and the weather was bad, yang was the refereee and that made the entire situation even more horny. hahah. but i would say he did have a good game as there was a point where i hurled abuses at him for not giving fouls but he did not lose his cool. the rain made the pitch wet and our control was terrible. But that was no excuse for the opponent seriously sucked. Simi Green Meadow leh... but i guess we sucked more for not even managing a single goal at all.

Soccer the next day was at Yishun with my AJ team. The pitch was terrible too due to rain the previous night. But the whole difference was the play was so much better. Boon and Adib were really fantastic on the day. Prior to the start of the match, i was surprised to see uncle hu as the opponent's keeper and based on his previous exploits i had witnessed, we were in for a tough match today. We did concede the first goal but after that it was relatively easy as Adib scored a superb hat-trick to extinguish any lingering hopes for the opponent. We won 6-1. hell yeah.

My family and i had a dinner at night with pei pei, pei ling aunty and uncle zhen guang at dragon city. It was sort of a celebration for my brother's birthday as well which happened to be on monday. Had fun listening to the long lectures of uncle zhen guang and they brought us to jiwen's office thereafter. I really admire them for their entrepreneur spirit and for having a group of friends and family who really share their aspirations. Having said that, it is apparent that i don't have any who do share mine of opening a restaurant. hahah at least now now.

We went to my cousin's house after that and they bought for us this wonderful mango mousse cake for my brother. I also heard the news for their trip to Alaska and my uncle asked me to join them. So here i am on the verge of a fantastic holiday in June 9. Yay. hope i get to take some pictures of the aurora or northern lights. anyway anybody who would like to join me could contact me and i could work out something. You could ask me for the itenary online through email or msn.

wah... damn shag... freaking weather is gay. played at st.wilfred today and its a much better ground for short passes, but harder for long passes. we routed the opponent with 5 goals to 2... yan hao(i think) is a fantastic player, left footed, fast, and most importantly has the determination and hunger. he scored 2 goals and had a hand in other superb moves.

after the field game was street soccer and i could barely run as the field soccer took its toll on me. wanted so much to do well with kenbang and serhwee but guess today's another off day. hahah

we had pastamania for lunch and really bacon aglio is damn nice. the garlic flavour rocks but not the breath it gives you. hahah there was some cheerleading competition gg outside PS. wow some of the girls are hot. must be a nervy experience for them to perform under the watchful eyes of so many people while wearing such skimpy outfits. mer

work is rather dull this week except for the pizza lunch that we had. sarpino's pizzeria is a better than pizza hut any time, cheaper yet more tasteful. you must try it to believe it. the garlic bread is worth mentioning. http://www.sarpinos.com.sg/ ----> wen
i'm glad i have finally gotten closer with my colleagues and the atmosphere has been better. hahah andrew feldman is a fantastic guy who does fantastic things like eating with a fork and balancing his cup from the canteen to office. hahah dorine seems to have lightened up since the last incident where she said she needed a break and seemed on the brink of tears. at least i think so. hope she gets better.

I'm beginning to wonder whether I really am growing in girth and mentality everyday...
Seems like the world is shrinking with the pathetic admin work that i do...
Today, on my way to the bus stop back home, i stopped by CCAB for wat was i think a soccer final btw Victoria and another sch, it totally reminded me of the glory days of AJ soccer team.
Damn...

Working sucks... it sucks when u don't hafta use yr freaking brain... started on wed and well the best part was the tea session which i got to mingle abit... Andrew Feldman is rather interesting... he brushes his teeth at 5.30pm... all that because maybe he is a son of 2 dentists... hahah or maybe for personal reasons... and dorine is nice, su gek is... hmmm animated and my 2 bosses friendly... they do all have one thing in common though... they are freaking workaholics... some skip lunch and well they are damn engrossed in their work... in pale comparison, i get to do filing, shredding paper, photocopy crap and fetch stationary upstairs. Save me... anyway i can't believe i saw robert... yes sgt robert... lol such coincidence that he works at botanic gardens near to nus law fac... had lunch with him and well i guess all forms of work sucks after he shared his work experience with me. I think my bro got the worst deal... he works till damn late and even as i am typing now he is probably slogging his guts out...

2 more mths of suffering and with the pay i can finally go for my well-deserved vacation...

Had loads of soccer dose this weekend... played street soccer on sat and ate at soup restaurant. Spent a bomb la... its nearly 21 bucks pax. but it was good of course... then went town in the intention for a movie but was beaten by the ridiculous timing and lack of tickets... Had ice-cream at (cant remember the name) and we spent time toking cok there... kenneth, serhwee, wayne, zhiping and me.

Sunday saw me playing soccer twice... firstly I went orchid park sec for a game with a police team organised by james. To summarise we all didn't play well although we managed a 2-2 draw. Our passing was awry and couldn't link up with one another well. Even James didn't play well... well he did score the second equaliser to make it up... But hey i loved playing with these guys... loved it since secondary school days...

Had lunch subsequently at my aunt's house which saw my whole family there. The food was good especially colin's baked cheese cream potato or watever u call it. And their new house is tremendous, 2 flat panel tvs and open concept makes it really lavish and luxurious. The toilet rocks the most... hahah.

After lunch, had a kick-about at bishan ite with AJ sluts hahah. We weren't really playing seriously but easily won all the matches... shows how far we've growned. It was good to see kumar, mohan and most of all Ngak playing soccer. Hadn't seen him on the field for ages... Damn... hahah jus can't stop playing this sport... hope the agency calls me tmr for job interview la... don't make me wait so long please...

Finally a photo that will definitely make me nostalgic in years to come...

I'm feeling really fucked up... I mean when i think abt things when i grow up...
Get a 8-5 job, finish work, going home to bed and waking up the next morning doing the same thing... I mean how many of you out there are guilty of it... its just not living life (which i also happen to not know what is). Its a damn lousy cycle to live your life in... we should always do what we like and enjoy every minute of it and finish life the way we want it...
Easier said than done though but we gotta find a way...
I want to find that way but currently i'm stuck and i don't know which direction to start out...
I do hope maybe 10 yrs later i'll be looking back at this post and thinking what crap i'm writing... I really do...
I don't feel like studying anymore
I don't feel like working and
I want to start living my life...
but i don't even know where to begin...
screwed up...

ORD LOH! Yet another milestone in my life is over... and its time to move on... but let me indulge in reminisce for a little...

My 30 SCE fellow platoon mates. The people I have been spending the most time with since 1yr 7 mths ago... We went thru thick and thin. Countless exercises, unlimited standbys and sai gang... Now that i look back, it is an achievement guys... It is... Despite all the crap we went thru, the fun we had together was immense... be it late night talking, eating supper, playing pool, playing soccer, playing dota, it has been a truly delightful experience... The basketball court in 30SCE will also be edged in my memory... a place where we shared many hours of hardcore soccer action... Among the people there are... Cheong my friend and foe... hahah... King CHRIS, Jerald the faggot, Eugene the gay, Rotten Andy, Old Hen, Terry, Gambler Kenny(you bing!!!), the 2 skeletons, Michael Sim and Liau Jun Xiong, Boon Tien, Leon the pangseh king, Raymond the rubbish bag, Yoke Chee my buddy with Cheong hahah and not forgetting RAMbo hahah... and any others who i missed out... PS Elvin Seah thanks for all the gay shiet hahah... THANK YOU RETARDS!!!

My Soccer guys in AJC will always have a place in my heart too... The many matches we played... the more memorable being 2 weeks ago against Cheong's frens... The tears and joys we shared in AJC in the soccer team. You guys are great.

Thank you Peiqi too... although you probably won't see this but i can't believe you still remembered my birthday from so long... means alot... thank you...

Many thanks to members of hornyteam and scorchers whom i have spent a lot of time with... won't know what i would have done without you...

I want to thank my parents for the last 21 yrs they have been taking care of me... my dad who works very hard overseas and my mum who takes care of me at home... hearing me whine and grumble... guess i'm probably a difficult son to raise... Too cliche huh... hahah

So now its really time to move on... to my next phase in life... who knows wat will lie in store for me ahead... but that's wat life's about... so lets all embrace it...

Poor soccer, pissed friends and a parking ticket to top it off... how worse can a day get...

Saturday, January 27, 2007

The sky was ominous but nathan and me got up early and went to yishun ring road for a soccer match with Ethan's frens. To be honest, i couldn't sleep the previous night upon hearing who I will be pitted against today. Slept around 2am. The two of us got there early and the other team was alr there. I saw Wei min, the supposedly "1,000,000 better than him player" Desmond(I think) and a couple of familiar faces, Siva, Ashley and this Ndu guy. They were not the only players, Ethan subsequently told us there were club players and a sg U21 player in their lineup. I was overawed. But later when our team came, it settled me down a little. Adib, Boon and Josh, three fantastic players what more can i ask for. It got delayed till 11pm before we got started due to some painting work going on and a mini soccer clinic.

The match was pretty even but the other team had better control of the ball and Desmond was really a handful. He is awfully quick and loves to cut in from the left. However we didnt give him much chances and kept a foothold on the game. To be fair, we created numerous opportunities only to be wasted by our striker. But he buried a chance around the 30th min with a stinging left foot shot that was too hot for the keeper to handle. The match started to get out of control with Kim on the receiving end of some really hard tackles but he got up immediately to his credit. Jason a club player with Boon was pretty impressive and held the ball up well. As the match went on, a long ball from ashley saw the sg U21 player allowing the ball to drop to Desmond, I tried to follow him but he was quick. Honestly, I used my hands to grab him abit and Wak came in too. But in blink of an eye, he was past the both of us for a right footed shot that jus went past Nathan. it was 1-1. That was half time. I was tired... fucking tired.

Second half started and we held back and defended and went for counter attacks. One of them saw Adib playing a superb through ball to Jason and he was duly felled by one of their defenders. Josh stepped up with a calm left footed penalty that made it 2-1. The ill-tempered match went to breaking point with both teams hurling abuses after Kim was chopped down viciously. The referee had to end a match that was the best i had played. We won 2-1 and it was all that mattered. Our team is truly great as Ethan always said. I love the team and i wonder back to those days where we had our national A div tournament. How the fuck did we get knocked out first round... hahah but at the end of the day, i admit that i admire the skills the other team had but playing as a team is all that matters whether you win it or not. We fight for one another, just like the AJC motto. hahah never knew i would be so passionate.

I will be going to the Kallang stadium later and a win over Malaysia for Singapore will really cap off a magnificent day for me... Ciao

Mwahahahah

They are retarded... the defenders i mean...

Today i overheard two kids saying "why does she smoke", "only stupid people smoke". I wonder... with all the health hazards involved and the crazy price tags on cigarettes will it deter people from smoking. I wonder...

"Sweetness" by Jimmy Eat World
If you're listening, whoa oh oh oh oh oh
Sing it back, whoa oh oh oh oh oh
String from your tether unwinds
(String from your tether unwinds) whoa oh, whoa oh
Up and outward to bind
(Up and outward to bind) whoa oh, whoa oh
I was spinning free, whoa oh oh oh oh oh
With a little sweet and simple numbing me.
Are you listening? whoa oh oh oh oh oh
Sing it back, whoa oh oh oh oh oh
So tell me what do I need
(tell me what do I need) whoa oh, whoa oh
When words lose their meaning (When words lose their meaning) whoa oh, whoa oh
I was spinning free, whoa oh oh oh oh oh
With a little sweet and simple numbing me.
Yeah, stumble till you crawl, whoa oh oh oh oh oh
Sinking into sweet uncertainty
(Are you listening? Are you listening?)
If you're listening, whoa oh oh oh oh oh
If you're listening, are you listening?
Sing it back, whoa oh oh oh oh oh
If you're listening, are you listening?
I'm still running away
(I'm still running away) whoa oh, whoa oh
Won't play your hide and seek game
(your hide and seek game) whoa oh, whoa oh
I was spinning free, whoa oh oh oh oh oh
With a little sweet and simple numbing me.
What a dizzy dance, whoa oh oh oh oh oh
This sweetness will not be concerned with me.
No the sweetness will not be concerned with me.
No the sweetness will not be concerned with me.

My mum and brother jus got back from japan and judging from the pictures they took it was damn fun la... I wished i was part of that experience. Anyway they bought some red bean pancake that is wonderful and this green tea cake that is fabilicious. Furthermore, they splurged further on clothes in particular on Gap clothing obviously cos there was a sale over there. They even remembered me and got me 2 shirts and a bag. A major thank you for the both of them. They got to see Delorean. If you recall, its the "Back to the Future" car.

Looks like some antique but its actually from the future?

Cool huh?

I guess these 2 pics are the pick of the lot from all the 100+ photos they have to show me. Japan is great but being there is even greater. hahah

Made lunch for myself today from a recipe i found from the net. This actually proves they work. hahah I made baked cheese macaroni and it turned out well, at least on the appearance. The taste was a bit bland and would take some improving. In the end, i made too huge a portion and had to throw the food away. wat a waste. bleagh. So below are some photos to show for my efforts...

Looks like maggots yeah...

Looks golden brown and delicious doesn't it?

In the night, I even won most of my PES 6 matches online which is pretty satisfying after the 7-3 thrashing last night. Fuck. hahah been listening to Tyler Hilton and Bethany Joy Lenz's "When the stars go blue"... its a fantastic love song...

Just got back from lunch with grandma, my 2 uncles and my aunt with her 3 adorable kids. It started kind of awkward cos of not being real close to them and missing my mum and brother, but it went really well with me chatting wif my uncle throughout. Topics include : my university choice (which he said that NUS has a more diverse student population and i couldn't agree more), Army, careers and many more. But what interested me the most was my uncle's job. He works at DSTA and is in charge of acquisition and integration of parts and weapons for aircrafts. Kinda forgot to mention that we lunched at a tung lok grp retaurant at UIC building, the food was rather delightful and so was the ambience. But Tom and Jerry cartoon sort of stole the limelight for the 3 kids. hahah still deciding whether to go back camp tonight wif a bruised nose and slight ankle sprain... HMMM.... hahah
